Hey Walt - loving these shows! The Bob Marley & Wailers song is amazing - but it’s actually a cover of an Impressions song. They simplify the chords (and make it much better) - but it’s the same one. I’ve loved the pre-Island Bob Marley stuff since I was a kid, just magical stuff.
Oh wow. I had no idea. Bob Marley gets writing credit on my record! But wow yeah I just looked up and listened to the impressions version. Amazing - I had absolutely no idea it was a cover. Bobs version is much better yes. Anyway, thx for telling me, that’s great intel. ✌️❤️
