Hi - I started DJing vinyl from my record collection every Sunday night at 8pm on my favorite radio station, WEXT in upstate NY. Since I was 16, I’ve been buying records and obsessing about finding great music and trying to figure out who plays what on what and who wrote what and what else did they write and who made what and when and where did they make it and all that good stuff. I basically found that if you learn a lot of that stuff it helps you find more and more great music. I still have a lot to learn but over the past 3 decades I’ve found tons of great shit from all over the world — stuff I feel like a lot of people would really love. So yeah, now I get to share some of it on the radio - so cool.
Anyway, I’ve figured out how to upload episodes here so folks can listen to it at their leisure — so here’s Episode 1. I was a little nervous and I talk a little too much and try to sound more interesting than I am, but all the music is great. I didn’t know where to start so I just start off with my favorite song ever and let things roll along from there.
