Austin is me! 42. First Walkmen show as at a thing in Columbus also around 2002 at a weird thing called More Than Music festival. Fast forward to mid 2010s and my kids were birthed and bathed with We're All Young Together. Got to see those Webby Hall reunion shows also. This is fun and very relatable.
P.S. Look Out The Window from that split Calla EP is such an underrated Walkmen song. A few years back the Recoys music showed up on Apple Music (and I assume other streamers) with that track and a few other early walkmen songs, but they got the order all wrong so the track names don't match the songs. Look Out The Window is called Roy Orbison.
Hooray! This was fun.
