oh man yeah I have it all. I love it. yes very sad in a lot of ways- sad to hear him struggle but very beautiful and raw too. I always loved how David Gilmore, who replaced him , had no competitive or weird feelings about him but instead encouraged Syd's music and played on his stuff and apparently visited him regularly in the psychiatric hospital -- I think he produced one of the solo records,..? Anyway David Gilmore, a famously nice fellow, certainly has my respect for that.
Hey Walter, I wanted to mentioned that my three-year-old asks to listen to "All of Us" every day on the way to daycare. He's also so taken with the Green Beans & Tangerines album cover. We get in the car and he's like "where's the lion?" The Walkmen will be next. Thanks for all the tunes!

Ya I believe everyone in the band had a hand in producing Madcap and Barrett but apparently Roger and Richard couldn’t deal with the erraticness.
David was the only one who stuck it out. Floyd, man. What a wild run
An early days pre-show while Walt does some alchemy
You got it!

Hey Chris, that’s great to hear. Thanks for the note ✌️
You ever get into Syd solo stuff? Haunting and sort of sad but very interesting
(The comment above was in response to your Syd question fyi)
