Thanks, Mrs. Martin. I'll speak for the class and say we really needed this. Also, who doesn't like Paul Simon?

Ha thanks-

but yeah a lot of people (especially musicians who think they are “cool”) like to think of Paul Simon as corny and cute and bad. It’s a thing. (A dumb thing)

I have to double down on that! I agree 100% with Sylvia! Also, Donovan's "There Is a Mountain" is a personal sentimental favorite for some of my family and friends. Love the Bunk Johnson numbers, too. Another great episode, Walter! Great big thanks to you, and Mrs. Martin! Cheers!

Preach it! You've almost got me convinced to invest in old time music. But does the Schumann really make you happy? Because I had to hide the razor blades listening to it.

Thanks for introducing me to Chalino Sanchez. I love the unpolished delivery of his voice! If you want to go further down the rabbit hole there’s a podcast on him called Ídolo: The Ballad of Chalino Sanchez. His life story is fascinating.

Loved the In the Gloaming tune. What a great version. Chord changes in that song are so cool.
