Playlist: John Lennon’s Jukebox

Hi -

I loved doing those 3 John Lennon’s Jukebox episodes. So cool to hear what John was listening to and to imagine why he chose each song, what he loved about it, and what he may have borrowed from it.

So here’s the complete playlist in the official order. As we discussed, there are a couple of contested tracks. I included the ones I feel most confident John picked and left the alternatives as tracks 41 and 42. And I added “School Is Out” by Gary U.S. Bonds as track 43 because my girls get out of school this week, and I love that song with every bone in my body.

Anyway, thanks for the great DJ-ing, Mr. Lennon. We love you.
