Listen to last week’s episode: Year One Blowout Show
In last week’s episode I closed with a bit of classical piano music by Strauss and joked about how I worry it bores people when I play that stuff on the show. But, to my delight, many people wrote to me saying how much they love it and many mentioned how much they’ve enjoyed the solo classical piano playlist I shared a few months ago.
So, for this week, I’ve extended and enhanced that playlist and, I gotta say, this thing is incredible. Honestly. I have been listening to this playlist constantly and I cannot recommend it more. As I’ve explained before, I’m not a classical music scholar but I’ve been very in love with the sound of solo classical piano music for a long time so have done a ton of poking around.
And I’ve compiled all my favorites here. 17th century- 21st century.
Let me know what you think of this stuff and which composers are your favorites - I think this is maybe the best music on the planet.
