We’ve made it to the end of John’s Beatles years. This one starts with him coming back down to earth after the psychedelic craziness and follows him through India, Yoko, the White Album, Revolution, Don’t Let Me Down, Come Together and the final days of the Beatles.
There’s a lot going on in this period (as usual). John is writing some of the best songs of his career — and lots of them! He’s falling in love with Yoko, getting more interested in politics and gradually moving away from the Beatles.
Some of my favorite music on the planet in this one.
Long live John Lennon.
