John Lennon, Pt. 2
Hello -
John 2! While all of John’s phases are interesting and complicated and filled with wonderful songs, this period from early ’65 to early ’67 might capture the most important transformation the fella goes through. I’m sure that will be disproved in the next episode, but nonetheless, this is a fascinating period for our hero, John.
We go from Help! through Rubber Soul and into the psychedelic era. His songwriting slows down, but his imagination goes wild, and the results are truly fantastic.
Long live John Lennon.
