Why do we come to these barbecues πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

We’re deep appreciators of the McCartney sweater vests in this household. My 9 year old son dressed up as Paul from Magical Mystery Tour with that crazy multicolored sweater vest he’s wearing when they pop out of the sunroof of the bus

Cook of the House is a rip-off the Mama and the Papas' Creeque Alley. Sorry Linda.

wow yes what a journey this has been. Fellow Paul skeptic (former but also forever), but i love this episode. I’ve always wanted to claim Linda as the essential ingredient behind those homespun feeling solo Paul songs I’ve always loved, but i never knew intellectually how or why that was the case. your rationale here makes a lot of senseβ€” Paul could have fun with her in a way unique from how he had fun with the Beatles, which by the end had been tainted with so much resentment and drive to prove himself. The linda songs are blissfully free of that baggage that seems to stick around in his head even when he’s aloneβ€” there’s a door that only she has a key to and she brings so much levity and sweetness herself. So much more to say but thanks for this great episode!
