Ok - Beatles season is officially raging.
Today: Part 3 of the McCartney fest. I think this one is my favorite.
Partly because it shows I’ve come a long way from my (very recent) days of being too cool for solo McCartney… but mostly because I’ve made some discoveries during my transformation process that are genuinely exciting.
With a lot of inspiration from Linda, I’ve fallen for a side of Paul that I hadn’t seen very clearly before.
As evidence, instead of my regular Sunday Surprises playlist this week, I’m going to do a long playlist of all the songs in today’s episode, plus many more — a full “cherrypicked” playlist that captures the the side of ol’ Paulie I really love (and excludes the stuff I don’t). subscribers only
